This is a single class drop-in for Oct 8, 2024

You’ve heard it time and again: nothing builds chops like playing with other people. But where can you find that comfortable, forgiving jam for beginners to first get your feet wet? Right here! We’ll learn the dynamics and etiquette of group-playing and the song-circle format while highlighting tips for integrating your instrument into an ensemble setting.

This camp meets from 10:00am - 4:00pm each day October 11 - 14

Attention! Accordion immersive 4-day camp at KPC Studios.  Join Emerald City Accordion as we dive deeper into the musicality and versatility of the instrument.  Founded by renowned musicians Jamie Maschler and Gabe Hall Rodrigues, their teaching studios embody a blend of expertise, passion, and a deep commitment to fostering artistic growth.

Camp will include:

• Instruction from accomplished accordionists with years of teaching experience.
• Accordion arrangements for the group.
• Ample hands-on practice time.
• Collaborative learning environment fostering musical friendships and camaraderie.
• Workshop materials and resources to continue your learning beyond the camp.

Final orchestra performance will be on October 15th (location TBD), followed by an accordion friendly concert featuring local professionals.

This class is open to ages 15+ and is for beginners to intermediate.We strongly recommend being able to read music.
