Thursdays from 6:30–7:30pm at KPC Studios starting March 5, 2026 (four weeks). 

Ready to finally pick up the guitar and start playing? Join us for a relaxed, four-week introduction where local singer/songwriter and music educator Wes Speight will guide you through the fundamentals — from tuning and basic chords to common strumming patterns and playing your first songs. This all-ages class is designed to make learning feel approachable, supportive, and genuinely fun. Whether you’ve never touched a guitar or you’re brushing off an old hobby, you’ll build confidence each week in a friendly group setting. Bring your own instrument and come discover what you can do!


About the Instructor: Wes Speight 

Music educator and singer/songwriter Wes Speight has been playing guitar since he was a teen, discovering that the instrument holds a world of sounds, shapes, and creativity. For Wes, the guitar is both a tool and a refuge; something he can carry anywhere and use to find inspiration, joy, and a new focus. He has spent the last 12 years teaching guitar, helping students develop their own musical voice, while also continuing to use the instrument to further his songwriting craft.
